Release date: 22 October 2026. A new batch of the 05940023 draw-wire string sensor has arrived in our warehouse. The same unit is also listed by customers under part number 04-21-30070. It is a direct fit for PM200 cold milling machines and can now be shipped from ready stock, which matters when a machine is already standing on site waiting for a part.

The draw-wire sensor follows the reference wire along the milling pass and feeds a proportional position signal into the levelling system. The controller uses this signal to hold the milling depth steady while the machine moves forward. When the sensor starts to fail, the first signs are usually a small depth drift, an uneven cut line, or a levelling fault code on the display.
